is seeking a skilled Export Operations Coordinator for their Itasca, IL Branch! This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in Ocean or Air Freight who is seeking the chance to continue their growth and professional development in freight forwarding.
Schedule: M-F 8AM to 5PM
Pay range: $23-$27 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the coordination of Export Shipments from A to Z
Assist customers with the shipment process to include bookings, quotes/rates, tracking/tracing, scheduling pickups, and invoicing
Enter shipment data into the Company's system
Provide updates to clients on potential shipment delays in a proactive manner
Maintain strong relationships with steamship lines, trucking companies, etc.
Ensure compliance is met at all times for internal and external rules and regulations
Follow customer established SOPs at all times
Respond to internal and external emails/requests in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications
3+ year of experience in Export Operations for Air or Ocean Freight (REQUIRED)
Computer skills
Interpersonal skills
