Overview:Our world class vision engineering team has built an engine that can process the movement of trucks and containers in real-time. It’s now time to unlock the potential of that engine by building SaaS applications that leverage the vision engine to transform the logistics industry. We’re hiring the team of engineers that will architect and build these applications from the ground up.We are seeking a detail-oriented Dev Ops Engineer to optimize the workflow of the front-end development team, ensuring rapid and reliable feature deployment through efficient CI/CD pipelines. They will manage and scale the application's infrastructure, enhancing its performance and availability. By integrating security measures and monitoring systems, they safeguard the application and swiftly address issues, minimizing downtime.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring efficiency and reliability.

Provision, configure, and maintain the necessary infrastructure using IaC tools to support front-end applications, ensuring scalability and stability.

Implement and manage monitoring solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of the front-end applications.

Apply security best practices throughout the development lifecycle, conduct vulnerability assessments, and implement security patches and updates.

Facilitate collaboration between the development team and other stakeholders, providing insights into operational constraints and architectural feedback.

Assist in optimizing application performance, utilizing tools for performance testing and working with developers to achieve efficiency benchmarks.

Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies and tools to improve the development and deployment processes.

Create detailed documentation for infrastructure setups, deployment processes, and troubleshoot guides; offer training to team members on operational practices.

Requirements:Must be based in Austin, TX, or willing to relocate.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

3-5 years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or software development, with a proven track record in scalable infrastructure management.

Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

Proficiency in cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and implementing security measures and best practices.

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working closely with development teams and stakeholders.

A continuous learning mindset with a keen interest in staying updated with the latest technologies and DevOps practices.
