Job Overview:

The

Information Security Engineer

will have a passion for managing corporate security and store security. This role is responsible for the planning, design, installation, operation, and maintenance of a broad suite of information security systems, and will assist with coordination, investigation, and reporting of security incidents. This individual will work with Information Technology staff and business units to assess risk, address security issues, and enhance organizational information security awareness in accordance with defined IT Security policies, procedures, and standards.

Responsibilities:

Manage security infrastructure, including firewalls, content filtering systems, logging, endpoint security solutions, and other security devices, applications, or resources.Define security requirements and review systems to determine if they have been designed to comply with established security standards. Develop new standards as necessary.Assist in the enforcement and monitoring of compliance regulations.Raise awareness of security policies and develop corresponding procedures.Analyze business needs, research and recommend solutions.Create and review reports on event anomalies.Investigate and respond to security incidents and violations.Provide security expertise to the company.Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent additional work history.Three or more years delivering information security infrastructure support and related services with a minimum of 5 years IT experience.Expert knowledge of firewall technologies required.Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, common protocols and standards.Experience with DLP, FIM, and IPS/IDS systems.Experience in risk analysis, audit, and compliance enforcement.Experience with security scanning tools, including experience with web application vulnerability assessment.Working knowledge of Email Security technologies, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.Working knowledge of web application firewalls, load balancers and proxies.Working knowledge of secure network architecture design.Working knowledge of Identity Governance and Access Management.Strong communication skills and attention to detail.Strong process-oriented individual with experience in ITIL concepts.CISSP certification is preferred. Security+, CEH, CCSP, or CCNP Security certifications are desirable.Proficiency with one or more scripting languages and implementing automation is preferred.Familiarity with PCI and SOX compliance requirement is preferred.Understanding of risks in Retail is preferred.
