Requisition Summary Do you have a passion for building customer focused software applications? The PACCAR Finance IT team is looking for a talented, ambitious, self-directed software developer to lead our projects from conception to launch. As a member of the PACCAR Finance IT team, your responsibilities will include the design, development, and maintenance of PACCAR Financial applications and programs, and the delivery of world class IT solutions for our business partners. Job Functions/Responsibilities Analyze, design, develop, and implement custom PACCAR Financial applications. Participate in the evaluation, build, testing, and implementation of new products and the modification of existing products. Define and propose software solutions for system enhancements and changes. Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, and Subject Matter Experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. Estimate development tasks, define work efforts and timelines, provide project statuses. Work with testers and business teams to triage defects and ensure changes are migrated into production correctly. Participate in Agile/Scrum activities (sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, daily sprint meetings). Provide on-going production support for PACCAR Financial systems and applications. Perform tasks regarding change control, incident management, and audit. Support SOX and IT Security guidelines to ensure all systems are kept in compliance. Create and update the appropriate system documentation. Qualifications 5+ years developing applications in: C#, .NET development (including ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC, and .NET CORE) Experience in planning, designing, developing, architecting, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms. Experience in Java-Script frameworks (Angular.js, Angular 6.X, JQuery.js, React.js). Experience with SQL, SQL server, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services). Experience designing Restful Web API architectures. Experience software design and testing methodologies. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented programming and Design principles. Experience in optimizing application and database systems. In-depth knowledge of software design, application security, and testing methodologies (including test driven development and test automation). Willingness to learn new technologies. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, customer support environment and with all levels of the organ
