Role:5+ years of experience as Java Developer with Support experience. Location: Brooklyn OH Responsibilities: Performing day to day production support activities such as monitoring online environment batch jobs issues resolution ticket resolution status reporting etc Resolving production problems such as batch abends user queries issues online abends etc within SLA Service Level Agreement Provide Corrective and Emergency Maintenance to enable applications meet Service Level Requirements Provide preventive maintenance design permanent solutions to frequently occurring problems critical issues Implement production problem fixes thru complete life cycle design development testing post implementation support Track the project and small system change request schedules time reporting. Participate in peer review process of code fix for the quality of the deliverables Establish Quality Procedure for the team and continuously monitor and audit to ensure team meets quality goals. Review changes and analyzing performance of the system before moving Code in production environment. Utilize In depth knowledge of functional and technical experience in Banking domain and improve business skills to deliver solutions to customer. Evaluation and estimation of new implementation or modification of existing Processes Coordinate development of the solution Work with users to test the fixpatch to make sure it meets requirements Lead post implementation support Track the project and small system change request schedules time reporting Participate in peer review process of codefix for the quality of the deliverables Updating the status to the Project manager Program manager client manager and delivery executives with weekly and monthly status reports. Ability to analyze test debug web services and Java code using developer tools needed Ability to understand tables and write queries for Oracle Database using SQL Developer Ability to write scripts using Unix Bash scripting as well as editing current scripts as needed Must have : Ability to integrate and support vendor supplied software. Ability to write Java Batch programs or edit.
