to join our team. This office is open 7 days a week a 37.5-hour work week. The schedule is to be determined by the supervisor up hire. Monday through Friday shift between the hours of 7:30 am to 10:00 pm. Saturday shift between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. Sunday shift between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.The

is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service, and adhere to Lean processes. 2005 Coney Island Ave., First Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11223Primary Responsibilities:Obtain accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address, insurance informationPerform insurance verification on the date of serviceObtain patient signatures for required documentsFile and maintain medical recordsConfirms and schedule appointmentsAnswering incoming and outgoing telephone calls promptly and courteously,Perform referral documentation promptlyAdhere to the standards identified via Sparq regarding Optum Employee PoliciesWork cohesively with fellow employees to achieve specific team goalsKeep abreast on current medical requirements relevant to their position, which includes maintaining patient confidentiality and abiding by all HIPAA and OSHA requirementsComfortable working in high pace environmentParticipate in planning, coordinating, and implementing care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team in accordance with the Plan of CareAssure the continuity of care through scheduling and tracking systemsProvide effective communication to patient / family team members and other health care professionals as evidenced by documentation, case conferences, communication notes, and evaluationsComply with administrative policies to ensure quality of careDemonstrate precision and efficiency in scanning documents and monitoring the fax server, retrieving and / or scanning documents and assigning to the appropriate electronic chartAll employees are expected to keep abreast on current medical requirements relevant to their position, which includes maintaining patient confidentiality and abiding by all HIPPA and OSHA requirementsPerforms other duties as assigned

The salary range for New York residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
