Your challengeThe Embedded Software Development Engineer position provides the successful candidate with an immediate opportunity to be involved with the manufacture of technology that is helping to save lives, improve patient outcomes, and reduce the cost of medicine across the globe.You are responsible forStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including engineers, product managers, and clinical specialistsSelf-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skillsKnowledge of DSP (Digital Signal Processing) fundamentals and image processing is a strong plusKnowledge/experience with Ultrasound Imaging and Signal Processing and a strong plus .You are a part ofIn this role as a Senior Embedded Software Development Engineer, you will design, implement and test ultrasound components which integrate with the overall feature design and implementation. This role will be a part of the Ultrasound Next Generation Platform team.To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following:BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent5+ years in software development/engineering including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.Extensive Experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g. C and C++), design and codingUS work authorization is a precondition of employment. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
