Leap29 - Solar Project DeveloperLeap29 is searching for a Solar Project Developer to join an established company in the Northeast. Preferred locations include NJ, PA, DE, with others considered.
Responsibilities:
Lead project development activities: site control, permitting, electrical interconnection, and engineering.
Coordinate internal and external subject matter experts for real estate, permitting, electrical interconnection, and engineering.
Own project inputs/assumptions, coordinating updates with internal groups.
Manage project progress, risks, opportunities, and economics, providing thoughtful analysis and risk evaluation.
Manage or support due diligence activities for acquisitions.
Negotiate lease/purchase options and agreements for site control.
Coordinate engineering activities for permits and interconnection matters.
Work closely with the engineering team to support design and EPC processes.
Identify and track key development tasks, managing budgets for each project.
Requirements:
Record of academic and professional achievement.
Knowledge of PJM a bonus.
Well-developed communication skills.
Ability to collaborate well with a small team.
Proven organizational acumen working on multiple projects.
Bachelor’s degree.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
2-5 years of experience in energy or renewables.
