Role Overview:

Expected to work in close collaboration with the internal team and client on data transformation, data engineering and data technology projectsWork with client to understand company needs to define architecture and build data solutionsPlan and design the structure of a technology solutionUnderstanding of strategic data and IT solutionsEvaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methodsEnsure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructureFamiliarity with various operating systems (e.g. Windows, UNIX) and databases (e.g. MySQL, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redshift etc.). Familiarity with SFTP tools.Doing independent research, analyze, and present capabilities and alignment with current solutionExperience in cloud technologies (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud etc.)Managing the learning and development of new team membersIdentify and participate in continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection GuidelinesParticipate in business development activitiesExperience in insurance preferred but not mandatory.Key Responsibilities & Skillsets:

10+ years of experience as Technical Architect/Data ArchitectExpertise in building solution architecture, data pipelines, technical workflowsExcellent communication & presentation skills with consultative mindsetShould be able to lead team independently and prepare/manage client ready deliverableAble to understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe

Data Management Skillsets:

Strong familiarity with data engineering principles, architectures, pipeline design and cloud technologies. Must have experience working and building architecture/pipelines on AWS.Strong and in-depth understanding of Data Engineering FundamentalsSolid and in-depth knowledge of Cloud data management (AWS services)Good knowledge of database management and SQL, Informatica, Hadoop/Spark, and ETL tools.Ability to understand data models and identify ETL optimization opportunities. Exposure to ETL tools is mandateShould have strong grasp of advanced SQL functionalities (Partitioning, CTE, Schemas, Architecture etc.)Strong ability to translate functional specifications / requirements to technical requirementsExperience with AWS technologies including AppSync, Lambda, Step Functions, Event Bridge.Solid experience of AWS services such as CloudFormation, S3, Glue, EMR/Spark, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, KMS, SM etc.Knowledge of modern cloud native data warehouses i.e., AWS Redshift, Snowflake or Azure Synapse Analytics.Experience implementing metadata solutions leveraging AWS non-relational data solutions such as Elastic Cache and DynamoDB.

Candidate Profile:

Bachelors/master's degree in computer science/engineeringExpertise in AWSData/Technical Architect experience is mandatoryAWS Solutions Architect or AWS Big Data Certification preferredAnalytical and problem-solving skillsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsAble to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges
