Service Fusion serves over 7000 field service contractors in over 20 residential and commercial service verticals with mission-critical business management software. While the largest segments of the customer base are HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair contractors, our target customer is "anyone in a truck who comes to your home or business to perform a service." Service Fusion allows such contractors to operate their business from anywhere with enterprise-level features at a small business price.The Service Fusion team is seeking a highly experienced and passionate Senior Technical Architect to help drive the modernization of a monolithic application into a componentized, services-based platform for our Field Service Management offering so that we can continue to meet market demand and produce customers for life.Responsibilities: Provide both architectural guidance and hands-on development for the migration of a cloud-hosted, monolithic application to a .NET/C# microservices platform.Provide architectural guidance for the development of Maui based iOS and Android mobile apps.Operate as both a team leader and mentor for other developers and architects to produce a scalable, secure platform.Work with product and project management to ensure understanding of all requirements.Work with development and QA on breaking down requirements into implementable and testable tasks.Work with DevOps in defining runtime environments, resource requirements and automation capabilities.Participate in all grooming and priority setting sessions with stakeholders.Drive code reviews with the development team.Qualifications:3+ years as a senior or lead architect responsible for designing, building, and managing high performance software systems.7+ years of .NET/C# design and development experience.4+ years working with Entity Framework.4+ years working with message-based systems, bonus for direct experience with RabbitMQ.2+ years working with Angular 2+ and Web Components.Experience running C#/.Net Core applications insider Docker containers.Experience in taking a legacy monolithic application stack and evolving into a service-based platform.Experience in a cloud hosted SaaS (Software as a Service) industry.Experience working with payment processing and mobile payments.Highly desired background:Experience working with Maui or another cross platform mobile framework.Experience working in a Scrum based agile environment using Jira.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Creative thinker and problem solver.You are well organized and detail oriented.You are not afraid to make decisions.Understanding of Home Service Industry or Field Service Management applications is a plus.Where:The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. The annual base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $165,000 USD Per Year.
