Information Systems Security Engineer

As an Information Systems Security Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on security design, conducting assessments, and contributing to technical artifacts critical to our program's success. This role involves collaboration within a team to review and assess RMF authorization evidence for classified information systems, ensuring compliance with security controls and protocols. You will also serve as the technical authority on cyber security within the government program management office.

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field9 years of related experience5 years of experience with Windows and Linux environments5 years of experience with Xacta2 years of using information security and assurance practices and principles5 years of experience with virtualization or cloud environments5 years of implementing NIST 800-53, Rev 4 and the Risk Management Framework (RMF)Required Qualifications:
TS/SCI with poly clearanceDoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Sec , CISSP, CASP, etc.)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to engage with users professionally and present technical concepts clearlyExperience interfacing with seasoned Government personnelAbility to work in a matrixed team environment and support multiple efforts as neededDesire to learn new technologies and share knowledge with the teamDesired Qualifications:
Other Security related certifications (Cloud, SIEM, forensics, Linux, Windows, etc.)Experience working in a DevSecOps project environmentFormer or current system administrator, developer, or engineerFamiliarity with MS Active Directory, Splunk, ACAS/Nessus, McAfee, AWS Security, etc.

Summary Pay Range:

$150,000-$175,000
