MAX - AWS Cloud Engineer

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their AWS Cloud Engineer position! This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity and can be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Develop, deploy, and maintain infrastructure in AWS environments.
• Collaborate with cloud architects and AWS solution architects to implement foundational solutions.
• Deploy and support application infrastructure.
• Write CloudFormation scripts to deploy and secure infrastructure in AWS.
• Automate and improve the AWS environment to ensure high availability and performance of applications.
• Work closely with infrastructure, operations, security, and application teams.
• Build infrastructure as code CI/CD pipelines using CloudFormation, Terraform, Python, YAML, JSON, and Typescript.
• Engineer automated, repeatable platform solutions on AWS with self-service capabilities for application teams.
• Maintain a strong understanding of security constructs in AWS including LoadBalancers, WAF, SGs, NACLs, Patching, CloudTrail, Guard Duty, etc.
What You'll Need to Have:
• 3-5 years of experience developing infrastructure and platform pipelines for agile delivery to application teams.
• AWS Certifications highly desired.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Pay Range:
$75-$90/hr +
