Work Location: Zolon Tech, Inc., 13921 Park Center Road, Suite 500, Herndon, VA 20171.Travel/Relocation to various unanticipated project locations throughout the US may be required.
Job Description:
Gather and analyze business and user needs using knowledge in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.Serve as the liaison between business services and technological services.Consult with functional units and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements.Capture and review business requirements and translate them into appropriate functional application specifications.Identify and document current and state process workflows, develop documents such as business objects inventory list reports, email notifications and forms list, email notifications/letters, user stories, permission matrix, and wireframes.Conduct Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions. Performed gap analysis. Document processes, use cases, workflows and requirements.Develop Business Process Flows, Entity Relationship Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and State Diagrams.Collaborate with the software development teams.Provide critical functional input to the software design and development process.Participate in software testing and ensure that the business requirements and functional specifications are met using Requirements Traceability Matrices.Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, including developing test scenarios and cases.Support required system go-live activities.Develop and maintain appropriate documentation on all phases of software development.Use of MS Project, Visio, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SQL, Hewlett Packard Quality Center (ALM), and related tools.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or Accounting or related field.Must have knowledge of Business Data Analysis and Computer Information Systems through course work or work experience.
