Position Purpose

The Human Resources Coordinator will work closely with other HR team members to coordinate day-to-day responsibilities. Areas of focus include but are not limited to onboarding and orientations, recruitment & selection, compliance, employee morale, and human resources information system (HRIS) administration. The coordinator will proactively support the HR Team with day-to-day tasks.

Position Responsibilities

Coordinate onboarding programs for B&D:Coordinate all first-day orientations for new hires and provide schedules to new hires before employees' start date.Work with Marketing and IT to ensure new hires are added to the Intranet and the B&D website.Order business cards and mail new hire supplies/gifts.Review HR Mailbox.Schedule 90-day performance reviews for all new hires.Work with functional departments to prepare slides for semi-monthly staff meetings.Support the recruitment and selection process:

Post B&D job listings with various professional and university job boards.Develop and sustain relationships with diverse professional organizations and universities nationwide.Assist the recruiter in reviewing resumes and applications.Coordinate interview logistics, including candidate correspondence, scheduling, travel arrangements, etc.Manage a pipeline of qualified candidates.Review and verify completed background checks and degree transcripts for new hires.Assist with federal and state compliance regulations:

Review I-9 or E-Verify discrepancies in ClearCompany and HireRight Simplifi-9Send out annual anti-harassment training.Assist with maintaining up-to-date personnel files that follow federal and state guidelines.Assist HR Manager in benefits compliance audits.Ensure that compliance posters are ordered and displayed in all B&D offices.Order and distribute safety gear as needed.Assist with administrating the human resources information system (HRIS) and talent management portal :

Utilize ClearCompany to track applicants, conduct interviews, and communicate all recruitment communications.Maintain ADP's main home page, which is viewable to employees, ensuring all information and resources remain current.Post regular updates to staff regarding important HR information.Run employee reports as needed.Assists with benefits administration:

Pull and organize monthly transit reports for the payroll manager.Assist HR Manager with year-round 401(k) administration activities.Support employee morale initiatives:

Track and organize employee gifts for major life events and work anniversaries.Work closely with the HR team to develop new ways to support employee morale and wellness.Assist with storage and organization of team documents:

Regularly check job descriptions to ensure the most up-to-date descriptions are available to employees.Work with IT to ensure the HR page on our intranet contains up-to-date information.Maintain physical employee files in the office.Perform additional duties as needed, which include, but are not limited to:

Respond to written employment verification requests.Maintain inventory of new hire gifts, company-branded items, business cards, etc., and place orders as needed.Assist with special requests and projects as needed.Position Requirements

A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, human resources, sociology, psychology, or a related field.1-2 years of professional experience in human resources.Experience in a staffing agency setting or within a talent acquisition or corporate recruiting department is highly preferred.Some knowledge of HR theories and best practices in recruitment, employee relations, employment law compliance, and benefits administration.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS applications, and other relevant computer software (i.e., knowledge databases, applicant tracking systems, etc.).Highly adaptable to a dynamic and evolving environment.Analytical and critical thinking skills.Ambitious and self-motivated.Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal skillsCollaborative teamwork abilities.Demonstrated awareness and respect for diversity.Unwavering integrity.Long-term focus and goal orientated.Meticulous attention to detailProficient multitasking capabilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills.

This role's base annual salary range is currently $60,000-65,000. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate, and pay relative to other team members.
