Trisian-Global Consulting is seeking an IT Business Analyst with JD Edwards experience for a full-time permanent position. This is on-site in Memphis, TN. The primary responsibility of the JD Edwards Business Analyst is to work closely with the business, sales, and shipping to determine their requirements and collaborate with the technical teams to facilitate the changes.

Responsibilities include:

Work with Business Users to identify, document, and resolve issues arising from the use of JD Edwards Enterprise One Order to Cash functionality within West Frasers various lines of businessCapture business needs and translates those needs into measurable requirements that can be coded, tested, and successfully implemented and adopted by the businessManage the creation and execution of test plans, ensuring that the results meet the specified business requirements while supporting QA activities as neededTraining of business users on Order to Cash applications and configurationsParticipate in the development process in a support role through the software product lifecycle.Participate in cross-functional integrated teams to address business and adoption issues (e.g., user experience, data flow, business process flow)Contributes and participates in the successful rollout of JDE enhancementsTriage reported defects and document root cause analyses to avoid production service interruptionsAssist Business with month-end, year-end closing proceduresPeriodically check and fix issues that come up in integrity and reconciliation reportingReview and make recommendations for application of JDE system patching or updatesCommunicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leadersTest fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolvedConduct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of potential procurement and development effortsWork with vendors to facilitate the efficient implementation of new software products, systems, and enhancements as well as the resolution of any adaptation issuesManage assigned tickets and work packages using ServiceNow and JIRASkills / Education / Experience

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience5+ years experience with business systems analysis, requirements authoring and hands on application support in large enterprise environmentsExperience in design and implementation of JDE modulesExperience with Order to Cash lifecycle, Accounts Receivables, inventory management and manufacturing processes.Successfully completed at least one full implementation involving multiple site configuration set up with proven incorporation of structured planning and testing processesSolid understanding of end-to-end financial concepts, including but not limited to autopay, 2- and 3-way invoice matching, voucher creation, and financial reportingExperience with business process analysis and follow through improvement implementationsExperience working within manufacturing facilities and with manufacturing staff on design and implementation of software initiativesOracle Transportation Module (OTM) experience is strongly preferredExcellent written verbal and oral communication skills with a proven record in communicating with all levels of the organizationClear understanding of emerging technologies and enhancements that will allow process improvements and enhanced business functionalityAbility to work effectively and adapt to shifting priorities as business needs and deadlines changeExperience with ServiceNow, JIRA softwareOracle E-Business Suite experience considered an assetStrong interpersonal communication skills
