Intelsat's Product Development group is focused on producing exceptional Customer Experiences, across its' unparallel set of industry competitive offerings. We are seeking an innovative candidate with a passion for quality management. The delivery of real-world products on time and on budget will rely on the right requirements set and a testing strategy designed and implemented by this individual.

You will be an important resource to the success of Intelsat's Service Management Portal (SMP), our chosen Single Pane of Glass platform used by customers to manage their products and services. Working closely with Intelsat's business units, engineering, operations and support teams; you will build context, provide service assurance and execute flawless product delivery. In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating the testing of new features prior to each release and work alongside Product Managers to appropriately spec new products and move them through our Lean Portfolio Management process.

Are you up to the challenge?Meet with internal and external stakeholders, to build context and understand business requirements that will facilitate the development, release schedules and test plansEvaluate technical documentation and business requirements, for each project, in order to determine scope and Universal Application Testing timelinesAnalyze design specifications and functional expectations to ensure specific test criteria, that you create with the stakeholders, are met to allow for a successful production release.Work directly with commercial stakeholders, OSS and BSS teams to ensure new features or products are delivered error freeOversee the internal and external engineer's development, of support and technical documentationCraft through release notes and other relevant documentation prior to each successful releaseEstablish an end-to-end development program with published cadences and management tracked via Confluence / JiraLead the execution of test strategies in concert with stakeholdersFacilitate communication and plan execution across functional resourcesIdentify and communicate key testing requirements in a timely mannerCertify release candidates prior to code promotion enabling the Intelsat's future automation capabilitiesYou should definitely have:

A minimum of 3-years of recent, relevant experience that includes testing, product requirements development and digital development in a corporate environment.A minimum of 2-years of experience leading User Acceptance Testing effortsA 4-year degree in Business, Business Information Technologies, Telecommunications / Satellite EngineeringThe ability to build, administer and lead a test plan in JiraProject/program management skillsThe ability to understand the customer's business strategies to become an advocate for profitability on behalf of the customerEffective English language skills both written and verbalShares knowledge, empowers and provides critical support to launch product on-time and within budget.It would be nice if you had:

Led a previous applications development / customer experience related program in the Satellite or Telecommunications industry.Designed and implemented a comprehensive testing strategy for a large software deploymentExisting SAFe Agile methodology experienceWhat it's like to work with us:
