Business Analyst (Product Management)– REMOTE Location

As the 65 and older demographic grows to ~20% of the US population, the long-term opportunities within this $700 billion+ marketplace will continue to drive significant growth for SunFire. Our existing quoting and enrollment technologies enable brokers and insurance tele-sales agents to sell the most favorable Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug and Medicare Supplement plans within a proprietary cloud-based platform. With our aggressive product roadmap, your contribution will further innovate and transform the engagement for all stakeholders within the Medicare industry, specifically with our customer acquisition value-based care physician lead generation business line.

In this role, you’ll act as a junior product manager, handling the tactical business requirements and day to day issues within our Product Design and Management team. Your blend of business and technical savviness, drive to execute and ability to quickly learn SunFire’s business objectives will make you successful.

What You’ll Do:Collaborate on the development of user requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and feature specs for product modifications from customers, internal stakeholders, and product managers.Gather & analyze data sets, write business requirements and prepare documentation to help build products in our system.Help develop functional specifications for product modifications and manage projects through the development cycle.Work with Engineering staff to ensure that requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.Manage & communicate day to day issues that determine how SunFire will analyze and map data to proper formats.Answer questions and research issues from internal staff.Requirements:

Experience with building and gathering requirements. Experience with relational database queries and strong analytical skills.Advanced skills in Excel and experience with technical writing in a content management system (like Confluence).Ability to translate technical documentation and product specifications into tactical steps for all stakeholders.Demonstrated experience collaborating with technical counterparts and Product Designers in forming strategies.Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.Familiarity with JIRA is preferred.SQL knowledge is a plus.Insurance product experience preferred.SunFire offers:
