On Cue Hire is actively searching for an IT Support Specialist for a contract-to-hire position based in midtown Manhattan, serving our client directly on their premises. The role involves:
Offering hands-on technical support for issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware, addressing inquiries received via phone or in person.MAC and PC troubleshooting experience, level II supportTroubleshooting and repairing issues with HP printers and other IT-related problems encountered within the office environment.Elevating complex issues to the tier 2-3 remote support team as necessary.Ensuring daily computer system operations run smoothly.Handling customer support requests through email and phone, providing prompt assistance.Diagnosing problems by asking precise questions and guiding users through corrective steps.Performing installations, modifications, and repairs to computer hardware and software, including imaging for laptops/desktops.Utilizing diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Addressing technical issues related to Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN) and other system configurations.Setting up computer peripherals for end-users.Conducting follow-ups with customers to confirm resolution of their issues and gathering user feedback on computer operations.Generating reports to identify and analyze recurring malfunctions.
