We are seeking an experienced

Data Engineer, Integrations

to participate in the design and build of Application and Data integrations at Global Partners. The successful candidate is a hands-on technologist with experience in designing, developing and supporting integration solutions. This position focuses on technologies and processes tying our application portfolio together, ensuring data is shared effectively and efficiently across our business systems, both on premise and in the cloud. Strong experience in iPaaS, API's, ETL/ELT and Data is needed. Experience in the Energy Industry or Retail is not required but is a plus.For over 75 years Global Partners has been delivering the energy, products, and services that make life better. *Plan, execute, and manage integration of new applications with existing systems and software.Primary ongoing support of existing application and data integrations.Translate integration requirements into specific systems, applications, and process designs.Develop and support integration processes and migration plans/schedules.Support the technical environments for the integration toolsets with upgrades, administration, troubleshooting, performance monitoring and regression testing.Create and maintain technical documentation, such as Requirements Specifications, Concepts of Operation, Product and Performance Specifications, Interface Control Documents, Compliance Matrices, Qualification Test Plans, Procedures, and Reports.Extensive use of SQL to query, analyze and manipulate data.Based on requirements and data analysis, design and build efficient & reusable integrations.Build and test integrations using various tools, including: SSIS, SQL, iPaas (Boomi, Mulesoft), Fivetran, MoveIT, Dagster and more.Work with peers, clients and 3rd parties in design, development and testing.Build an expert level technical understanding of in-scope applications, data and processes ." *3+ years' experience in IT as a developer, systems analyst or architect.Experience with iPaaS such as Dell Boomi, Snaplogic, Mulesoft or Scriptlogic.Preferred: experience with Fivetran, Jitterbit, Workato, Dagster, Snowflake, Python, Java/Groovy, Census.Experience with ETL tools, such as SSIS, Informatica, or Talend.Experience with API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST.Demonstrable knowledge of SQL.Knowledge of and experience with relational databases.Competency with XML constructs and schemas.Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and data mapping.Very good oral and interpersonal communication skills.Very good writing and documentation skills.Able to communicate ideas in both technical and business-friendly language.Able to conduct research into application integration issues and products.Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Research shows that many, especially women and marginalized people, are hesitant to apply for job if they don't check every box.
