The Opportunity

Our team in Lenexa, KS is currently in search of a

Temporary HR Assistant

to work either part-time or full-time hours for a temporary assignment of 2 to 3 months.

Assist with HR related activities, scheduling of employee events and trainings, managing records, payroll and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate company and employee events and trainings.• Attend regular meetings.• Assist the HRBP with administrating various employee benefits programs including group medical/vision, dental, life and supplemental insurances.• Support recruiting functions, interviewing, and screening employee candidates as assigned.• Coordinates new hire onboarding including orientation and new hire paperwork utilizing the company’s HRIS.• Records data of employee changes/transfers, etc. in the company’s HRIS.• Ability to answer/field employee questions and/or concerns regarding Human Resource policy, procedures, or employee handbook interpretations.• Maintain confidentiality for HR related issues.• Performs other duties and responsibilities as per business need.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Human Resources or Office Management experience preferred.• Experience with HRIS systems (UKG) preferred.• Collaborative work style and ability to work effectively across departments.• Service oriented, collaborative approach has exceptional follow up and organization skills.• Must possess excellent oral, written, presentation and listening skills.• Proficient in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Sharepoint and PowerPoint)• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changing priorities.• Confidence to ask questions and seek clarity when required.
