Content Strategist (U.S. Seeds) to join our U.S. Marketing Communications Team in Johnston, Iowa!

This position is responsible for planning and the over-arching content strategy for all Corteva seed brands.

What You'll Do:

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the day-to-day management of our editorial calendar and all marketing content planning and optimization to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency, and a positive customer experiencePartner with Content Leader, MCMs, Social Leader, and agency partners to develop a content strategy for U.S. Seeds portfoliosConduct content audits to identify gaps/opportunities and work with the content manager to fill in gaps/optimize existing contentPlan content capture opportunities to best showcase portfolio subject matter experts and influencersEnsure consistency across all content, from websites to social media channels and videosMaintain a calendar of project deadlines and content launch datesDevelop content and retargeting journeys, in conjunction with MCMs and campaign managersDevelop test/learn/iterate content pilots regularly for content initiativesSeek content partnerships with a portfolio that adds valueWork closely with Seeds Content Specialists, agency partners, and freelance writers to ensure content execution and process optimizationQualifications

Education:

You have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related fieldWhat Skills You Need:

Seven (7) or more years' experience in content strategy, planning, and content distribution (utilizing digital channels to distribute content)Previous education and experience in digital marketing project managementYou are a superior communicator (writing, presentations, content creation, etc....) and have proven experience working successfully with a variety of stakeholdersYou are a creative thinker and self-starter, who can take initiative, be proactive, and work independentlyYou are comfortable with technology and possess an excellent computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company-specific applications as requiredYou are a creative thinker and self-starter, who can take initiative, be proactive, and work independentlyFoundational understanding of the U.S. Agriculture industryWhat Makes You Stand Out:
