Forward Networks is currently seeking a Software Engineer (Devops) to help us develop and improve both our product and our CI/CD infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated building, testing, and deploymentDeploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters and troubleshoot issuesDeploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using helm and Kubernetes.Implement and manage infrastructure as code configs through tools and services like TerraformDevelop and maintain Ansible, Bash and Python scripts for automationPerform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issuesAdminister Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliabilityRequirements:

At least 3 years of industry experience and a BS in Computer Science (or similar degree)Experience with containerization concepts and tooling, such as Docker and KubernetesExperience with application package manager (Helm)Experience building CI/CD pipelines using (Jenkins or similar)Excellent knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems operation and troubleshootingExperience with virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere and KVMStrong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologiesExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Nice to have:

Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or PuppetExperience with cloud environments, such as AWS and AzureExperience with GolangExperience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk, etc.)

The base pay range for this role is between $125,000 and $185,000. Base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
