Post Production Coordinator

Our client, a national eCommerce marketplace company is seeking a Postproduction Coordinator / Video Media Management to join their in-house Postproduction and Content services Team. Youll be responsible for ingesting, tagging, and storing video, images, and photography assets across all content projects produced. This position is a freelance / contract position, 40 hours weekly. Onsite in the Fort Lauderdale area.ResponsibilitiesIngest, transcode, metadata tag, archive, and prepare all video and photography assetsUtilize an intimate understanding of camera media, production codecs, image formats, and more to influence decision-making on data ingest and project setupEnsure assets are preserved for long-term archival and properly tagged for thorough searchabilityServe as a DIT on video or photography production sets as neededCollaborate cross-functionally with vendors for materials going out of house or coming in house for post-production needsEarn trust through active and nuanced communication with not only peers throughout the various production teams, but also leaders within the post-production departmentRequired Qualifications:Media / Asset Management experienceExperience in video, film, production, pre or postproductionHighly organized and detail-driven, with a proven ability to anticipate workflow needs in a quick-turn environmentProficiency with computer file managementThrive in an ever-developing, fast-paced environment - happy to be flexible and pivot on a dime!Ability to act as a team player in a production team, who is ready and able to help come up with solutions to creative problemsActive listener with a solid ability to think criticallyStrong attention to detail, organization, time management, and communication skillsA positive, can-do attitudeAvailable to work on weekends and evenings when neededIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.The Solomon Page DistinctionSolomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
