This is a part-time, remote-based, 40-hours-per-month (about 10 hours per week) position, which allows for flexible hours, but some of the work will occur during business hours, generally in the form of meetings and communications with the social media team for any updates and direct communications.
Responsibilities:ssess corporate needs, discuss requirements, and clarify their goals for establishing a website.Design custom-tailored plans for proposed sites using a combination of graphic and written material and modify proposals as necessary until the client is satisfied.Create user interfaces using front-end code to interface with back-end code.Collaborate with copywriters and graphic artists to design images, icons, banners, and audio enhancements.Work with Web Developers to apply style and user interface design to web applications.Monitor performance and results and identify and evaluate improvement options.Maintain links within the website and enforce content and display standards.Stay updated on new and emerging technologies or applications and recommend opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities.Required Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Website Designer or similar role.Proficiency in web design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail.Knowledge of current web design trends and best practices.Bachelor's degree in web design, Graphic Design, or a related field (preferred).Strong written communication skills including excellent grammar, flexible and broad vocabulary, and correct spelling.Social media experience with applications such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and/or Twitter/XExperience using generative AI like ChatGPT.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word.Organization skills to enable work planning and meeting of deadlines.Must have access to internet and a computer with Microsoft Office.
