Position:

The Production Support position is key to assisting our Production team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following; other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Prepare and pack shades for shipping, including required hardwareProcess shipments online and track shipping inquiriesAct as backup to shipping departmentReceive incoming shipments, both domestic and international

Sign for shipmentsUnpack and verify packing list informationDistribute items to departments

Keep inventory of shipping and packaging materials

Notify purchasing when inventory is low

Monitor and keep inventory of certain key components for Production teamPull items from inventory and distribute as requested by the Production teamAssist with motor assemblyResponsible for prototype shadesMiscellaneous administrative duties as required from time to timeForklift certification preferredClean driving record

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of US money, measuring tape, and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Benefits and Compensation

The starting rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.

A starting compensation range for this role is $15.00 - $22.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
