We are seeking a full-time

Analyst

to work in our Chicago, IL office.

Our services include valuation, tax, engineering, and financial consulting for the purposes of financial reporting, tax reporting, transaction advisory, litigation support, and financing. Some of the more common valuation products include the following: purchase price allocations, liquidation valuations, tax valuations, expert witness reports and testimony.

In addition, we provide specialty tax consulting and transaction due diligence services. These services include providing utility sales tax exemption studies, obsolete inventory studies, capex and maintenance studies, and property tax consulting. These services are typically provided in the form of a detailed narrative report addressing the service provided.

An Analyst in Advisory Services provides valuation and tax consulting services to clients in all industries, including but not limited to oil and gas, energy, high-tech manufacturing, automotive, retail, consumer products, wholesale and industrial, food and beverage, e-commerce, media, communications, entertainment, healthcare, utilities, and others.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

Review, analyze and interpret client provide financial and operational dataUses their judgement to apply certain assumptions which in turn will result in assigning preliminary engagement conclusionsCreate statistical models and exhibits that show the engagement conclusions, assumptions and calculations which will ultimately be included in every report to be delivered to clients and all workpapersUnderstands and properly utilizes the valuation techniques such as the market, income and cost approaches when performing on valuation engagementsIdentifies key conclusion drivers and properly accounts for them in statistical modelsParticipates in management interviews with the subject company to gather data pertinent to the engagement through direct client interactionReport Writing - Presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise mannerRecord Keeping - Documenting all pertinent data used in analysisEducation, Experience, and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, accounting, finance, economics, or business from an accredited college/universityExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsValid driver's licenseExcellent knowledge of MS Excel operationsDemonstrated strong level of computer skills to include, Microsoft Office applications, as well as other office software products in a Windows environment
