This position is responsible for creating work orders / purchase order requisitions to support our customer sales orders. In this role, the Planner is responsible to ensure information is correct and communicated with all departments. Some of the other responsibilities are, planning parameters are correct, delivery schedules are communicated, and work order variances are accounted for. This position will also have the responsibility to communicate to the manufacturing floor priorities and schedules.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Team oriented work ethic and ability to work well with operators, engineers and managementWork in a safe and responsible mannerWork across multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups to ensure timely delivery of all Sundyne orders.Plan key parts milestones and drive requisitions accordinglyCreate and release requisitions for all purchase and make partsForecast and resolve part shortages and resource bottlenecks while maintaining scheduleCoordinate with purchasing on material and expedite requirementsBecome familiar with and develop a working knowledge of internal processes, customer specifications, and best practicesPlan, process, track, status, report and expedite all job routings and Bill of Materials throughout the Sundyne manufacturing process.Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilitiesDetailed status and reporting of projects throughout manufacturing, Assembly and TestProcess Engineering Change NoticesComply with all Sundyne, ISO and OSHA regulationsDevelops, implements and trains other planners on continuous improvements projectsThis position will also have the responsibility to communicate to the manufacturing floor, priorities and schedules.Enters NCMs and follows up with appropriate personnel for disposition and closureSkills & Abilities Required

Skills include creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and the abilities to organize and multitaskStrong verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in a planner rolePlanning experience in a manufacturing or construction settingMS Suite experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Familiarity with JDE (or other MRP System) and Query (strategy program) preferredStrong mechanical aptitude

Compensation DetailsAnnual Salary: $80,000.00 - $116,000.00

Additional CompensationSalary Range for this position: $80-90k (the salary offered will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and will be compared with internal equity along with market data for this position).
