The Team:

The Data Science team is responsible for analyzing our data and deriving actionable insights and models to help push our business forward. The type of projects include improving our prediction models, modeling users and segments in privacy-protecting ways, and running various experiments to understand our real time bidding marketplace.

The Role:

TripleLift, a fast-growing startup tackling some of the most challenging problems in the world of digital advertising, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Science team. The Senior Data Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing complex datasets, deriving actionable insights, and providing strategic recommendations to drive informed decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization techniques. They should possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:Perform in-depth analysis of large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlationsDevelop and implement advanced analytical models and algorithms to extract meaningful, actionable, insights from dataCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, data requirements, and analytical approachesDesign and execute experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate the effectiveness of business strategiesInterpret and communicate findings through insightful reports, presentations, and data visualizationsProvide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights to support decision-making processesConduct ad-hoc analyses, provide guidance on analytical techniques and best practices, and provide analytical support to various departments as neededContribute to the development and enhancement of data infrastructure, including data collection, storage, and retrieval systemsStay up-to-date on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in data analysis and data scienceQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferredMinimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights and driving business impactProficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulationExperience with Python or R for statistical analysis and modelingStrong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and regression analysisExperience working with large datasets and using data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, or MatplotlibSolid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)Familiarity with monitoring and measuring statistical modeling performance with ability to quickly build dashboards using tools like Grafana, Looker, etcExcellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectivelyStrong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workAdditional Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithmsPrior AdTech experienceFamiliarity with big data technologies such as Spark or KafkaExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, or other cloud platformsCertification in data analysis, data science, or related field (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, Data Science Certification)Technologies

US Jobs:

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the TripleLift US salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of TripleLift's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

Pay is based on various non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, and skills.

Salary range transparency

$117,000-$138,000 USD
