Associate Brand Manager, Bratz

role supports the Bratz Brand Franchise. Originally launched in 2001 as a line of fashion dolls, the brand has grown into a multi-billion dollar global lifestyle franchise now targeting adults and encompassing licensed goods, content, gaming, and events.The ABM supports the implementation & execution of brand strategies designed to drive sales, consumer engagement, market share growth, franchise revenue growth, and profitability management. The role works closely with internal support centers of excellence (i.e., Packaging, Sales, International) for brand management and agency partners (i.e., Entertainment, Marketing Services, Retail Marketing, Licensing, Communications) to deliver against our revenue goals and marketing activation to drive consumer demand.Position RequirementsEducation/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Business Econ, Marketing, Communication, etc)2 years of brand management, retail buying or marketing agency experienceFoundational knowledge of US retail marketKid/Family marketing, Adult fandom marketing, lifestyle brand marketing, Toy experience or quick turn fashion experience strongly preferredSkills/Knowledge/Ability:Motivated by challenges and possesses a sense of curiosity and a can-do attitudeAbility to work independently and maintain assigned priorities & deadlinesAttention to detail is key in supporting legacy brand with extensive historyAppreciation for fandom culture and associated expectations from consumersAbility to analyze sales data at a beginner levelBuilds relationships across the business by supporting cross-functional teams.Maintains consistent information flow across key departmentsAbility or willingness to learn to present product lines and business plans to buyers & partnersAuthority:This role reports to a Senior Brand ManagerThis role may be supported by direct report, Marketing Coordinator or InternKey Result Areas and Activities:Brand Management:Assist with the seasonal brand planning processWhite space opportunity analysisPrice point analysisNPD competitive data analysisCreate & maintain sales materials (price list, wave plans, sell-sheets)Create & maintain marketing materials (campaign decks, brand sales updates)Own international market product inquiries, collateral approval, and other day-to-day support neededDevelop an intimate understanding of the franchise and represent the brand both internally and externallyConsumer & Retail Marketing:Support leadership in developing & briefing seasonal & annual strategiesSupport leadership in ensuring all tactical executions from above strategies are on-brand and on-strategyOwn delivering and reviewing assets for e-commerce (third party retailers and DTC), catalogs, retailer ads, and concept mock-ups, including A+ pages photos, videos, copySupport PR event activationsSupport PR influencer box campaign executionsOngoing reporting of competitive retail activationsCategory Management:Assist with the category analysis and become an expert in Girls and Adult collector toy categories; including but not limited to: Collectibles, Fashion Dolls, Trend, Novelty, Fashion, Pop Culture, LifestyleUnderstand category dominance in retail, e-commerce and creative advertising activations of key competitive set. Manage up snapshot to managementAssist in aggregating market data from key international regionsAssist in output of monthly global NPD snapshotBudget, Retail Sales & Financial Analysis:Assist in analyzing & summarizing weekly (sometimes daily) POS analysis globallyDemonstrate basic understanding of brand financials: marketing ROI, spend impact (A:S), P&LBuild compelling cases and competitive analysis based on NPD industry data to make recommendations and dominate competitionSupport process to build financial quotas by item as part of new season development, along with insightful data points to justify financial growth targets for Sales, Supply & Demand PlanningCross-Functional Team Leadership:Be a reliable point of contact on all things brand related for cross-functional partners: Sales, Retail Marketing, Supply & Demand, Marketing Services, Entertainment, Communications, etc.Be a leader and a team player, solution-oriented with forward momentum and a sense of urgency to pull cross-functional players together to deliver on time and on budgetSalary:$75,000 - $95,000 /year
