Business Analyst
to for a multi-year contract to support the ongoing modernization and maintenance systems.What you will do
The Business Analyst analyzes user's requirements and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specificationsAnalyzes system requirements and leads design and development activitiesGuides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studiesProvides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technologyIncorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operationsDevelops technical documentationDevelops system Architecture and system design documentationGuides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plansInteracts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflictsUltimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibilityWork with a team of development and support engineers to support their successful achievement of their daily, iteration, release goals, and delivery objectivesFacilitate daily scrums, sprint reviews, sprint planning, backlog grooming, etc.Ensure that the team is fully functional and productive, enabling close cooperation across all roles and functions, while removing barriersWhat you need to have
Bachelor's Degree and 5 to 8 years of experience4+ years of working knowledge of software development4+ years of working knowledge of SQLStrong Agile Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) experienceExcellent interpersonal skills including organizational, team building, people management, issue resolution, and customer relationship managementOutstanding written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organization with both internal and external customersExceptional analytical and problem solving skills with proven ability to lead and manage projects with medium to high levels of technical and/or functional complexityDemonstrated ability to systematically gather relevant information from different sources to address an issue and make a prompt and insightful decisionWhat we'd like you to have
Programing experiencePrevious work with Government clients, DHSPast experience working with systems built using Java/JEE
