Summary : Perform various electrical/mechanical tasks and design complex control, power distribution panels, and systems for hazardous (classified) locations. Direct activities to ensure that manufacturing and operational testing conform to the functional specifications and customer requirements.

Specific Responsibilities :Design and develop complex electrical/mechanical control, power distribution panels, and systems for hazardous (classified) locations.Designing, implementing, or improving electrical schematics, interconnections, and assembly drawings.Ensuring that project scope and content are defined during the initial design process.Direct activities to ensure manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to the customer's specifications and requirements.Establish design criteria for each project using required codes and standards.Review specifications to ensure technical and regulatory compliance.Deploy four eyes principal in engineering department.Ensure all design changes are documented and transmitted to internal and external resources.Conferring with customers (internal/external) and reviewing all the necessary information to understand the project requirements.Perform various engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.Provide production with technical assistance.Provide technical support during testing.Review and approve engineering documentation provided by external groups.Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.Project Manage major projects and strategic OEM orders to assure completion on time in order to support production schedules required by the customer.When assigned participate in USRS Gemba walks to support the creation of the continuous improvement mindset.Define Ideas and Suggestions for Cost Reductions, Product Enhancements and New Products.Supervising or training project team members.Perform other related duties as assigned including Define & Implement Continuous Improvement Program in Engineering and contribute to the overall R. Stahl Inc. X-matrix Continuous improvement Action Plans with a particular focus being the development of an engineering back office in India to support the USRS business with functions including material support addition to EB, CAD work in EB, developing EB shapes to support material add functions.o Train and Implement Engineering Base in the department as well as define improvements to enhance productivity of the company like "Templates", 'Typicals' and other EB approaches to assist Sales, Engineering and Operations for both USRS and CARS organizations based on Global EB processes.

o Participate in Business Development at major end customers including DCS and EPCs to assist R. Stahl in obtaining spec in position globally while delegating these roles to further enhance the growth of the Engineering Team.

Requirements

BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldFour (4) + years of experience designing control systems and working on client-responsive technical environmentsAbility to assist customers in developing requirements and statements of workSkilled in reading design specifications and technical drawingsAbility to handle multiple projects, prioritize, and work with a teamStrong commitment to quality work performance and a disciplined work ethic with a positive attitudeSkilled in both verbal and written communicationExperience in a client-responsive technical environmentMust be detail-oriented, organized, and have excellent communication skillsAbility to travel less than 20%Knowledge of hazardous areas standards including, but not limited to, ATEX, IECEx, and NECExperience working with Engineering Base (EB) preferredExperience working with a CAD packageAbility to use MS Office suiteExperience working with SAP or other ERP systemsExperience working with a database management system
