As
IT Network Engineer,
you will be responsible for providing guidance for the development of network designs and architecture.
Responsibilities:Analyze, design and develop a comprehensive strategy and implementation plan with current, transitional and future state architecture viewpointsEnsure compatibility with existing solutions, infrastructure, services and strategic requirementsWork closely with IT leadership to ensure architectural alignment with organizational goals and requirementsEnsure the conceptual completeness of technical security solutionsDefine technical solutions analyzing the viability of the solution to meet the timeline, budget and qualityPerform other duties assigned as neededQualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
Knowledge of network concepts, architecture, operations, and toolsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceTS/SCI clearance with full scope polyRequirements/Abilities:
Experience with primary network topologies, LANs, WANs and other common network standardsFamiliarity with networking technologies including router/switch administration, ethernet and wireless networking and related protocols, hardware installation and support, system security techniques and firewall administration, basic database managementExperience with designing, configuring, integrating, and troubleshooting network infrastructure technologyExperience supporting a switched or routed network environmentExperience with installation, configuration, problem resolution and maintenance of all network resources, systems and other IT-related technologies
