We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional with a proven track record of delivering on sales targets. You'll be our first field-based salesperson, with the long-term plan of building out a sales team to support you. Within your region, you'll be responsible for executing excellently on every part of the sales process, from opening new accounts to growing existing business.This role reports directly to the Head of Sales.Required QualificationsBachelor's degreeDemonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine marketPeople management experience7+ years demonstrated sales success in orthopedicsComfortable in surgery/operating room environmentsExcellent written and oral communication skillsCapability to operate with a high level of organization and excellent time management in a dynamic startup environmentTravel up to 75%Preferred QualificationsExperience in the healthcare or regenerative medicine industryKnowledge of cellular therapies and related technologiesPrevious experience working in a dynamic and rapidly growing companyKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue goals within the assigned regionBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients, healthcare providers, and industry partnersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of sales efforts with overall business objectivesAnalyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challengesProvide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to senior managementDrive sales planning and execution initiatives to include reliable forecasting and quota achievement, identification of key opportunities, market trends, competitor activity, and key accounts for activity initiativesCommunicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programsImplement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory objectivesPerform training or mentoring; transfer knowledge to Sales Managers, Sales Representatives and to Sales Associates when neededParticipate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as requiredIn your first six months, some projects you'll work on include:Dive deep into Ossium's products and processes, soaking up information from internal expertsEstablish and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, physicians, distributors, and partnersWork closely with the Head of Sales to establish and grow your territoryPlan and execute strategic and tactical plans for your region including forecast, market analysis, distributor training, etc.We offer a full slate of employee benefits including:Competitive salariesStock options401(k) matchingMedical, dental and vision coverageFour weeks of PTO accrued (vacation & sick time) annually + 11 company holidaysEmployer paid life insurance and long-term disabilityGym membership/recreational sports reimbursementsOssium provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
