As part of Lincoln's national Marketing team, serving the Dallas office and broader Texas region, this role is focused on effectively supporting the pursuit of new Property Management business to expand the firm's third-party management portfolio. This position is responsible for partnering with the regional Property Management leadership team, as well as local market leadership and other service line leaders and specialists, to drive the creation of new business development deliverables—from opportunity assessment and due diligence to RFP responses, proposals, presentations, follow-up strategy, and debriefs.

The ideal candidate is an excellent writer and clear, concise communicator who will help drive business development priorities in support of regional and corporate growth strategies. This includes articulating a compelling value proposition for each unique opportunity that connects with the target audience.

The ideal candidate for this role will bring proven expertise in effective strategies for new business development communications, and an ability to coach the pursuit teams through the process to extract the right strategy and story, and prepare them for client presentations.

Responsibilities:

In collaboration with other regional and national Marketing professionals, creates compelling new business content, including introductory deliverables, proposals, presentations, and other communications with potential clients.Partners with regional Property Management leadership and national Marketing leadership to create and maintain content that is frequently included in pursuit materials, including case studies, leadership bios, regional overviews, process descriptions, etc.Works with national Marketing leadership to build and maintain a regional library of frequently requested RFP content, aligned with the national RFP library to ensure consistency of messaging across all U.S. regions.Identifies and pursues opportunities to tailor messaging to the individual client and assignment, while ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines and standards.Measures and reports on regional pursuit activities.Reviews and edits output of other team members for consistency and clarity of messaging.Adheres to and ensures the use of Lincoln's style guide and branding in all deliverables.

Able to evaluate new business opportunities, strategies, and market information—in partnership with Property Management and national Marketing leadership—to develop a convincing case for engaging Lincoln.Thinks creatively and works well with other Marketing team members to elevate materials and customize them to specific pursuit opportunities.Proven success creating RFP responses that are fully aligned with client guidelines, requirements, and timing.Experience developing thoughtful and convincing pursuit deliverables aligned with new business development strategy. Able to distill large amounts of information into clear, concise messaging.Collaborative partner. Adept at building internal relationships and dialogue—collaborating up, down, and across the organization—to facilitate the business development process.Excellent writing and communications skills. Able to create effective messaging using Lincoln's corporate tone of voice, and weaving in language and ideas that resonate with the target audience.Attention to detail, including strong editing/proofreading capabilities and interest in achieving the highest quality deliverables and outcomes possible.Strong project management skills and proven success engaging all required participants to ensure receipt of information needed to meet deadlines.Positive and people-oriented. Enjoys working with different personalities and can adapt to/accommodate others' working styles to get things done.Service-oriented and responsive. Works well under deadlines. Knows how to prioritize, keep projects running smoothly, and manage the expectations of everyone involved.Corporate sensibilities. Able to respond effectively to sensitive issues; solve problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations; handle basic calculations and understand basic real estate terms and principles.Experienced communications professional. Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5-7 years of related experience. Knowledge of commercial real estate (or a related industry) is required.Technical proficiency. Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., Acrobat Pro, InDesign, Photoshop); experience with project management systems is a plus.
