Mercy Medical Center Redding is a 266 acute care licensed bed hospital, at the heart of the community in Redding California. It is the premier hospital in Northern California, with a trauma level II designation. Redding is a community that combines the beautiful mountains with the convenience of a small city.St. Elizabeth Community Hospital is a rural hospital with 76 beds licensed tertiary care. We have 4 outpatient rural health clinics, 4 oncology and infusion clinic, wound healing center and outpatient imaging center. Red Bluff is a small community where you instantly become family, in a small town that wraps around the Sacramento river. With amazing schools, and many hiking trails.

Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta is nestled at the base of Mt. Shasta. It is a 25 bed, critical access hospital, level III
trauma center, with three rural health clinics and a new Emergency Department. Mt. Shasta is a small rural community that is sure to make
your heart skip with all of the amazing outdoor wonders at your front door.

Community Description
The North State refers to the geographical area between Sacramento and the Oregon border, which encompasses a third of

Sacramento, two and a half hours from Medford, Oregon, and three and a half hours from San Francisco.
Red Bluff, 30 miles south of Redding, is a quaint town of 14,000, which serves as the gateway to Lassen Volcanic National Park.
Red Bluff served as a staging town during Californias mining boom in the 1800s. Red Bluff is home to a variety of outdoor
activities and events, including the annual Red Bluff Roundup, one of the largest and most popular rodeos in the country.
