The Position
St. Lawrence Health is looking to hire full-time CRNAs to join our team of dedicated providers!
- Primary location is Canton-Potsdam Hospital with potential to provide outreach to other facilities.
- CRNA manages patient during procedure; will perform anesthesia on all ages.
- Skills required: Labor epidural, comfort with central line placement preferable but not required.
- Types of cases: bread and butter includes OB, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, healthy pediatrics, outpatient surgery, occasional thoracic, trauma and regional anesthesia; will insert lumbar epidural catheters, administer spinal anesthesia and will sometimes administer Axillary Brachial Plexus Blocks; though not typical, CRNA may perform other procedures and provide assistance as needed.
- Practice model: care team and independent practice. Cases are a mix of direction - supervision and independent. Position offers a lot of autonomy.
- Regular OR hours are 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, first staff in is first staff out at end of day. CRNA schedule will be a mix of 24-hour shifts and 8 hour days for a total of 40 hours per week.
- Department Numbers: 6 full time anesthesiologists, 9 full time CRNAs, 1 part time CRNA, 3 anesthesia techs.
- Call requirement: 1:9. CRNA rotation covers 1st first call Su-Fr and 2nd call Saturday. CRNA is off the day after being on 1st
Financial Package
Compensation: $305,000
Signing Bonus: Negotiable
Relocation: $7,500
Licensing & Dues: $1,000
CMEs: $2,000
Paid Time Off: 376 hours per year

In addition to the base pay range, certain provider positions may be eligible for variable compensation in accordance with health system pay practices. This may include: productivity and/or value-based clinical incentives, bonus compensation, or other forms of variable pay.
