Malignant Hematology Faculty Opportunity at Indiana University Health

IU Health and the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology, seeks a physician scientist to join our team! The candidate should have an outstanding record of accomplishment in clinical care, teaching, and a focused area of research activity in malignant hematology. The candidate will be considered across broad areas of expertise, including clinical trials and/or translational research.
- Academic practice with focus on clinical care, research and education
- Academic Rank at the Assistant/Associate level
- Practice comprised of hematology/oncology subspecialists focusing on 13 disease-focused programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosis, evaluation, and management of patients with hematologic malignancies. Administration and oversight of chemotherapy, biotherapy, and immunotherapy. Specific disease focus based on applicant's interest and current clinical needs. May require clinical time at the Indianapolis VA facility or Eskenazi Health.
- Teaching residents, fellows and medical students.
- Participation in quality improvement initiatives
Minimum job requirements
- BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology
- Obtain IN license
- MD, DO or equivalent education
