Role OverviewThe IP Strategy and Portfolio Development Manager will be responsible for leading and executing corporate strategy initiatives that provide the foundation for growth, create opportunities for new revenue streams, and ensure optimized business and market conditions for continued expansion.

This role reports to Nexus Circular’s SVP, Business Development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the cross-functional project teams to commercialize new pyrolysis products, creating a comprehensive business case to include the market value proposition, operations and engineering requirements, product specification needed, regulatory compliance and logistics.

Create and execute an Intellectual Property strategy that ensures optimized business and market dynamics for continued growth.

Create an Intellectual Property portfolio that creates a foundation for future growth.

Lead and/or support regulatory advocacy projects and initiatives, as appropriate, to provide the foundation for growth.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor degree (Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry highly preferred).

10+ years of recent relevant experience across functional roles, including technical service, sales, manufacturing, product management, or market development.

Demonstrated project management skills and ability to achieve timely milestones and drive projects to completion.

Ability to lead projects with external consultants (legal, regulatory, market), driving and coordinating their activities.

Additional Skills:

Intellectually curious.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Highly skilled with Excel and PowerPoint.
