Job Description
Aerojet Rocketdyne, and L3Harris Technologies company, is seeking a Sr. Tool and Design Engineer to join our team in our Camden, Arkansas facility.
In this role, the selected individual will design manufacturing tooling for the production of solid fuel rocket motors and warheads. This person will develop jigs, fixtures, lifting devices, and semi-automated equipment to cast and assemble the final product.
Essential Functions
Design mechanical equipment using PTC Creo and WindchillInterface with production, program management and safety to develop requirements and tooling needsDefine existing equipment problems and design repairs and modifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience6+ years of experience in the design of tooling to support manufacturingExperience using a solid modeling program such as Unigraphics NX, Pro-Engineer, AutoCAD Inventor or Solid worksWorking knowledge of air controlsAbility to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance
