EVS Technician

Job Title: EVS Technician Position Type: Full-time Shift: 10:30pm - 7:00am (3rd shift) with mandatory 30-minute break, every other weekend, and holiday required Hours Per Week: 40 Pay Rate: $16 to $19 per hour Location: 555 N Duke St, Lancaster, PA 17602, United States Description: Join our team as an EVS Technician at Lancaster General Hospital This role demands meticulous attention to detail, focus, and problem-solving skills. Duties include cleaning and servicing lobby, waiting, and common areas, ensuring they meet hospital standards. Tasks encompass cleaning environmental surfaces, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and disposing of trash. Additionally, you'll maintain stocked and orderly service closets and carts, report equipment in need of repair, and perform spot cleaning of furniture. Buffing floors may occur during shifts. No exposure to biohazard chemicals. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent (GED) Six months of hospitality/medical housekeeping experience preferred Reliable transportation Physical ability to stand, walk, push, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally Equipment/Tools Used: Mops, cleaning cloths, vacuum, compactor, floor buffer, floor machine, telephone, pager, cleaning cart, wringer, bucket, and computer.
