Position Title: Automation Software Engineer (Java/RPA)
Overview:
As an Automation Software Engineer, you will be working on automation solutions development including RPA bot implementations and custom modules implementation in Java, to support existing Production bots and develop net new RPA bots and systems as needed. The successful candidate will work in a team with senior supervisors as well as with the operations team and the whole R&D team, to properly understand the needs and arrange the approaches of the implementation.
Key Responsibilities:Develop new software and RPA components, improve current code base & components.Manage code, including code review of peers and other code versioning aspects.Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including design, development, and testing.Understand and use the existing products, framework, tools, technologies, and computer languages, applied to the current tasks.Translate automation requirements into tech requirements with estimation, and then to the actual implementation.Identify, diagnose, and resolve errors with RPA jobs running in Production as well as in other environments.Research new ways of automatization collaborating with Product Teams.Develop new features in partnership with the Senior Team Members, Managers, and other departments.Maintain and update the existing software as requirements change.Skills & Abilities:
Programming Skills: OOP, Common Practices, Popular Patterns.Writing Apps Code in Java, Python.Web Development: Spring Boot, Web API, JavaScript / HTML, etc.MySQL, or other SQL DBs.Code versioning using GITAutomated Web testing: Selenium / Cypress, JavaScript or similar.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail.Analytical and decision-making skills.Any other development / RPA experience would be appreciated as well (RPA: UiPath, Power Automate, etc.; general: .Net, Azure, PowerShell, etc.).Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science or alike.2+ Years of Java Experience1+ Years of JavaScript / Web API experience1+ Years of Spring Boot is a good bonusDesired Traits:
