The Sr. Demand Manager will lead implementation of all strategies and initiatives of Demand Planning in NA to drive continuous improvement to have benchmark processes. This role will also be a liaise with Commercial, to challenge, analyze, gain and validate the in-market demand dataKey Responsibilities:Drives collaboration with the internal and external partners to ensure that the latest market trends are made visible towards the Janssen Supply Chain strategic and business needs.Continuously assess processes with an innovative approach to drive future improvements.Partner with other Global Planning colleagues and other business partners for the latest information sharing, improved communications, and support.Lead Projects, partner and collaborate with team members, adopt an agile implementation approach passionate about the business value and the customers. Support the Regional Account Directors (RAD) in their Franchise/Region level IBP meetings as requested.Strong communication and analytical skills to appropriately influence and connect with key partners; ability to communicate up, down, and across a large, global organization.Self‐managing and self‐motivated with the ability to balance multiple initiatives and work in a global environment where priorities change quickly, and tight deadlines exist.Validated time management and organization skills.Must be comfortable with constructively challenging the status quo and looking for new ways to improve processes and results.Own global demand and act as global DRI for a number of key brands.Global consolidation of demand and scenarios and hand off to supply planning.Own the communication to Sr. Leaders for all demand related topic on the owned brands via IBP and several forums.Part of VCT, connected with GCSO, partner with strategic forecast team.Lead demand allocations.In the Integrated Business Planning (IBP), perform the Demand Reviews (base + R&Os, value/volume mix), for the assigned portfolio of products.For the full portfolio run the local coordinated reconciliation (volume/value) in partnership with finance and the business Ensure MAPE & BIAS are continuously improving.Lead demand events in a volatile business environment.Ensure the accuracy of the data are timely reflected in the main Demand intake systems (Anaplan & OMP)Deploy of DP/IBP strategy and roadmap proactively partnering with GPEX. Support further maturity of IBP process by driving shared decision making and accountability between JSC and CommercialQualificationsEducation:Minimum of a Bachelor's / University and /or equivalent degree is required; focused degree in Engineering/Mathematics/Forecasting/Supply Chain or equivalent ; preferred Experience and Skills:Required: A minimum 8 years of experience with a good business understanding Ability to collaborate and build positive relationships internally & externally with key senior customers Ability to challenging and extract qualitative information while collaborating with Business Partners Confirmed impact in roles requiring critical thinking, orchestration and influenceE2E approach and collaborative, influence-based leadership approachHighly organized and capable of working in a flexible, collaborative team environment with a positive attitude under some supervisionAbility to collaborate and influence successfully without authority to achieve performance improvement is required.Preferred:Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry is an asset.Experience in People Management including virtual relationships is preferred Strategic perspective and ability to integrate vision across multiple functions and translating strategy into execution.Ability to embed a culture of harmonization and process improvement and value creation People leader experienceOther:APICS certification The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000- $203,500 USD. The base salary range listed is based on a US pay scale and may be adjusted based on the successful candidate’s geographic location. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
