seeks a CEO or Head of School to begin with the 2024-25 school year.
The CEO/HoS will oversee and mentor our highly-skilled administrative team and more than 100 talented faculty members. Additionally, he or she will advocate on behalf of the growth and development of approximately 500 students.
The ideal candidate will direct all facets of our school, support the mission of the school through robust systems, effective communication, and have strong interpersonal skills. He/she will recruit and support staff and lead them in developing an environment wherein students can receive the highest caliber education.
A dedicated group of lay leaders will earnestly support the CEO/HoS in a partnership endeavoring to take the school on the next phase in pursuit of its mission.
Our search offers candidates the unique opportunity to lead a school in the center of a large and dynamic Jewish community in South Florida, the country’s fastest growing region of modern orthodox life. Students travel from Miami to West Palm Beach due to the high-quality secular and Judaic education the school has provided for the past 25 years. The school is on excellent financial footing and has an outstanding administrative team in place, along with dynamic teachers and a state of the art 10-acre campus, housing our 84,000 square foot building.
Responsibilities:
Institution-building:
Lead immediate and long-range planning, capacity-building, policymaking, and resource development for the school’s continued success.
This includes strategic planning with board and school professional leadership, talent recruitment, and fundraising. Continuously assessing professional leadership for optimal roles in advancing the school’s mission.
Public Relations:
Present the best of our school to the public through personal behavior and Public Relations in all arenas of communication. Represent our school in collaboration with the greater Jewish community.
Standards:
Set ambitious goals for academic performance, religious observance and social responsibility; develop plans to achieve them, systems to measure progress, and continually improve performance. Empowering, teaching, and holding professionals accountable for implementing goals optimally.
Vision:
Articulate and communicate to board, staff, students, parents and community clear mission, goals, values and priorities of the school in action, stewardship, and leadership. Continuously adapt goals and priorities toward mission and values.
Culture & Relationships:
Establish, maintain, and inspire norms of respect, care, and mutual responsibility; personal, professional and intellectual excellence; commitment to Torah, Israel and the Jewish people, by personal example, and through work with school leadership.
Motivate and work with others to create a shared culture and maintain relationships of collaboration, trust and mutual respect with community, board, staff, parents and students.

Qualifications and Successful Experience Requirements:
10 years of Executive experience
Successfully lead high performing Management Team
Overseen 75+ employees

Managed $6mil+ annual budget
