Summary We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) to drive and manage our global EHS initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, refining and implementing our comprehensive EHS programs defined at Ada Infrastructure to support our Data Center development, construction, and Operations with the aim of driving best practices across the industry. This role requires a deep understanding of data center infrastructure as it relates to EHS, a proven track record of program design and implementation, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams. Location Seattle, WA Responsibilities EHS Program Leadership: Develop, implement, and oversee global EHS programs and policies that ensure compliance with local, regional, and international regulations and standards. Support the delivery of the program that Ada Infrastructure has outlined, a risk-based approach, with the aim of raising the bar on EHS across the industry.

Establish a proactive safety culture and promote continuous improvement in EHS performance across all locations globally through understanding of High-Risk Activities, work planning, and by engaging stakeholders from the workforce to leadership.

Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify and mitigate EHS risks.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with evolving EHS regulations and industry best practices.

Ensure all facilities and operations adhere to relevant environmental, health, and safety laws and standards.

Incident Response and Crisis Management: Develop and implement incident response plans to effectively manage EHS-related emergencies.

Participate in and support local teams on EHS-related incidents including Root Cause Analyses (RCA’s).

Training and Education: Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels.

Promote awareness and understanding of EHS responsibilities throughout the organization.

Infrastructure Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of data center delivery, operations, infrastructure, and technologies, and how they relate to EHS requirements.

Collaborate with leaders, operators in the field and supply chain – from engineering to operations integrating EHS considerations into everything we do.

Global Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional global teams to ensure consistent EHS standards and practices across all company locations.

Provide guidance and support to local EHS teams, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.

Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing EHS programs within data center or critical infrastructure environments.

In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices, particularly as they relate to data center operations.

Proven track record in designing and implementing effective EHS programs.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across global teams.

Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred.

Actual compensation offered will be finalized at offer and may be above the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer represents the components of our total package.
