Description:Learn how to perform a wide variety of assignments, including, but not limited to; Machine Repair, Machine Installation, Rigging, Basic Machining, Pipefitting, Metalwork/ Fabrication and Welding. Perform all operations in accordance with the specified guidelines and instructions, while exercising safety for oneself and others.WORKING CONDITIONS -Heavy industrial environment, including, but not limited to exposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt, coolants, oils, noise, heights and confined spaces.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS -Bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 40 pounds or more.
Skills/RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent required and must hold and maintain avalid driver’s license and be able to meet Kohler Company’s MVR Guidelines andmaintain good standing.Must completetechnical skills knowledge review and receive a passing score on the STM (Skills Testing Device) assessment. Required to enroll in a Millwright ApprenticeshipProgram.An interview and knowledge assessment required, with the job being awardedto the most qualified candidate.
Thisposition is a 4-year commitment.
