Duties:
Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralistStrong knowledge with Floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machinesThe ability to identify, retrieve, and Circulate complex products during interventional procedural casesThe ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralistThe ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional proceduresStrong communication skills using closed loop communicationThe ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case loadPositively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses, radiologist, and vascular surgeonsKnowledge of documentation in electronic medical record and send images to Sectra/PACs systemGroin management post interventionDemonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast paced environment
Skills and Experience:
The Skills and Experience match parameters for the candidate are parsed from the Duties, Skills, and Education.3-5
years of experience as Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
Education:
BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measuresCurrent licensure with the certification with ARRT NJ state ( defined in above JD.)This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities.
