This network represents the cornerstone of a truly connected world, unbound by the constraints of the past and adaptable to meet the diverse and evolving needs of our rapidly changing society, economy and technology landscape.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesDISH Wireless is seeking a Staff Network Engineer to design and engineer effective and scalable network systems that ultimately contribute to the success of our 5G network. The successful candidate will participate in the design, engineering, and deployment of network routing devices for a nationwide 5G network buildout. He or she will provide advanced technical guidance for complex project work, including functional subsystem upgrades for mission-critical network devices and services and strategic upgrades to the network. In this role, you will: Review architectural requirements and provide analysis for network and services specifications, network design in a multi-VRF environmentDesign, plan, and implement complex LAN/WAN/RAN configurations at nationwide scale in a service provider networkEffectively communicate engineering solutions through detailed high- and low-level diagramsProvide advanced expertise in the planning and development of network test, validation and integration plans on projects and assurance of network integrityProvide hands-on implementation and support for 24x7 production network operationsSkills, Experience and RequirementsAs a successful Staff Network Engineer, you will have: Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer Engineering preferred8 or more years of professional experience in large enterprise or service provider space;Professional networking certifications a plus – CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalentPublic cloud certifications a plus – advanced networking, cloud network engineer or equivalentService provider networkingISIS, MPLS, and Segment RoutingBGP routing and route reflectorsMulti-VRF environments with traffic shaping and QoSIP Address Management, DNS, and DHCPHigh availability, failover and redundant configurations Network security design considerations and firewallsOther services such as TACACS, ISE, VPNNetwork automation with Python, Bash, Ansible, and Zero Touch ProvisioningData center fabric design and deploymentSalary RangesCompensation: $110,100.00/Year - $180,900.00/Year BenefitsWe offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits.The base pay range shown is a guideline.
