This position is a high-visibility role to help Trellix achieve its goal of being #1 in XDR by driving its certifications strategy and execution across the entire Trellix portfolio of products.This position will report to the Director of Product Management and will work cross-functionally with Development, Sales, Marketing, Privacy, Security, and Senior Leadership teams to ensure our product offerings are meeting the industry and government certifications and standards that our customers are required to follow. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for technology, as well as several years’ experience developing and bringing to market products and solutions in the cyber security space. This is a senior level position that requires a blend of technical, business and marketing capability as well as strategic thinking and collaboration skills to be successful.Qualified candidates will be charged with making and encouraging unbiased strategic product decisions based on quantifiable means vs. opinion to give the company the best outcome.ResponsibilitiesDrive the product certification strategy and execution across the Trellix Portfolio with input, oversight, and final approval from senior management in line with corporate strategyHave a deep understanding of customer needs, the latest technologies, competitive products, market research, and industry trends to drive innovation through the introduction of new solutions and features that differentiate us from the competition – internationally and across multiple segmentsCollaborate with the individual product management and engineering teams to help them document and prioritize product specifications including major initiatives, use cases and product requirements for them to develop against.Collaborate with sales and product marketing, to support the go-to-market strategy for direct sales and channel partners, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customerMeasure the success of products by defining and monitoring key metrics, adoption rates, and customer satisfaction.Work with 3rd party vendors and agencies to facilitate the evaluation and certification processes.Independently identify and analyze the possible impact of 3rd party partner and technology integrations with your products and make recommendations as neededBe the focal point for knowledge on customer needs, use cases, buying behaviors and purchase criteria internally within TrellixServe as the internal and external evangelist for the products and Trellix's Mission, Vision, and ValuesAuthor and deliver thought-leadership content such as blog posts, whitepapers, articles, and presentations as well as speak at industry and customer forums to build awareness of the company and our solutions.Be a positive influence on the Trellix team environment - collaborative, positive, helpful, and enabling the team to reach the best business and professional outcomesQualifications5+ years of software product management experience in a high-tech environmentBA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experienceMBA or advanced technical degree a positive, but not requiredDomain expertise in the product requirements and certification processes for one or more of the following: FIPS, Common Criteria, FedRAMP, NIS II, SOC 2, VPAT, or other similar certificationsFamiliarity with Software Development Lifecycles, DevOps, Agile practices, and Quality Assurance practicesExperience in successfully leading certification programs for Enterprise B2B software both SaaS and On-PremisesSkills & QualitiesHighly developed written and verbal communication skillsComfortable with presenting to Executive ManagementStrong organizational, prioritization, and time management ability with a deadline focusAnalytical, strategic, and exceptional in front of customersStrong ownership, initiative, and ability to work independently with limited directionHigh level of honesty and integrity with a strong work ethic and proactive thought leadershipProven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a matrixed environment and across multiple time-zones.Ability to influence, negotiate, guide, and work with cross-functional teams to achieve joint objectivesStrong business acumen and the ability to forge and maintain relationships both internally and externallyPassion for creating customer value through innovative technology solutionsTeam player mentality with a strong sense of reliable and consistent individual responsibilityCompany Benefits and Perks:We work hard to embrace diversity and inclusion and encourage everyone to bring their authentic selves to work every day.
