At least one-two year of commercial truck driving experience (box truck driving is preferred)A valid DOT medical cardAble to pass a background and drug screenLift up to 90lbsBilingual English/Spanish speaking is a huge plus!What you will do as a driver for Prime Meats:
Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centersInspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance before every routeDrive routes and meet delivery schedulesUnload products for customers at the final delivery pointDocument and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receiptsInput “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading processComply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and proceduresManeuver trucks into loading or unloading positionsCollect and verify delivery instructionsReport defects, accidents, or violations
