Senior VP Credit Officer
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior VP Credit Officer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior VP Credit Officer, you will play a crucial role in shaping and managing the credit landscape of our Commercial Banking division. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making, policy development, and risk assessment, while fostering a collaborative environment.
This is a Direct Hire role.
What you will be doing as a Senior VP Credit Officer...Provide senior management with detailed credit information and reports for bank management and the board of directors.Contribute to the development, review, and formulation of Commercial Banking policies and procedures, including loan policy and amendments.Conduct comprehensive analyses of the bank's credit-related risks, encompassing broad and narrow scopes, utilizing loan data and economic, industry, and banking trends.Assess total risk for new or additional credit requests by analyzing financial statements and credit history.Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Senior VP Credit Officer...Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of post-high school education and related work experience.15+ years of related experience and/or training in a commercial credit environment.At least 10 or more years in a credit officer role.Strong understanding of business or related fields.Proven ability to analyze credit risks and make informed decisions.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Demonstrated leadership and management experience.Commitment to compliance with Federal and State banking laws and regulations.
